PERTEX® QUANTUM USES A TIGHTLY WOVEN STRUCTURE TO PROVIDE A LIGHT AND SOFT FABRIC THAT ALLOWS INSULATION TO FULLY LOFT.
Precisely constructed from incredibly fine yarns, Pertex® Quantum fabrics are designed to trap still air and improve the efficiency of insulation.
A durable water repellent (DWR) finish sheds light rain and snow to provide additional weather protection.

Experiences and solutions developed over the years have been implemented into our flagship model of alpine jacket.
One of a kind – it is an evolution of our experiences and clothing engineering.
Thanks to the use of a special spatial construction of chambers filled with the best goose down and modern materials, this model performs well in extreme high-altitude conditions.
It maintains its properties (breathability, windproofness) even in temperatures as low as -35 °C. Made from lightweight fabric by the Japanese company PERTEX PRO. All external seams have been taped. Insulated with natural Polish goose down with a minimum loft rating of 850 cuin. Additionally, synthetic BIOFIBER insulation has been added at the elbows, shoulders, and back.
The hood and main zipper system were developed as part of the project for storm suits for the winter expedition to K2 #K2dlaPolaków.
The concept assumptions were confirmed and tested by Piotr Krzyżowski in the ultralight modular suit, Guide Pro Modular Suit.
Hood: an innovative construction created from scratch. Large, well-insulating, and providing protection against side winds /stiffening/. Advanced fastening and adjustment system taking into account activities with a headlamp-wearing helmet.
Hood: high collar fastened with a YKK zipper – here, “hook-and-loop flaps” have been eliminated.
Arrangement of asymmetrical main zippers – one (red) fastens the inner part of the jacket. The other, external one, fastens the outer shell of the jacket and the high collar of the hood.
Concealed zipper system in a flap/strip with an external cover.
Clean design, no Velcro (which never works in snow, frost, and wind), no persistent flaps, and protruding elements “trying” to catch on equipment.

- construction ensuring compatibility with climbing harness,
