Made of abrasion-resistant Japanese Pertex Quantum Diamond Fuse fabric, the innovative helmet hood adjustment system and innovative cut make it a very versatile jacket for many mountain applications.
The Climber Beta down jacket is a jacket created completely from scratch with an innovative way of constructing down chambers – a method that combines the features of the DSX “sew-through” construction and the DSH “chamber-brick construction”.
A down garment “hanging” method developed from scratch for “quilted through” construction.
The jacket is “suspended” from the inside on a separate element that is not an insulating layer. In the shoulder area, this results in an additional ‘upward push’ of the garment and eliminates the phenomenon of compression of the insulation in the shoulder and arm areas, thus allowing the insulation to expand and function optimally.
Innovative way of adjusting the hood for the helmet. Enlarging the hood by undoing the concealed zip, thus releasing the “booster”. This solution compared to the standard rubber band adjustment is easier to handle and the hood looks more aesthetically pleasing 🙂
