DOWN SWEATER Tourist II

Tourist II is a warm down sweater available in our collection for the past 20 years, which we continuously improve. We designed it as an intermediate or outer thermal layer.

We created the down sweater with the intention of providing warmth during activities in winter conditions. For this purpose, we utilized an advanced construction of three-dimensional down chambers with an H-shaped cross-section (DSH), eliminating “cold seams”. We filled the Tourist II with high-quality goose down with a loftiness of 850 cuin 95/5. In areas particularly prone to heat loss and down migration, such as the shoulders and elbows, we incorporated synthetic insulation panels. The sweater is made from a lightweight yet durable Pertex Quantum Y® fabric, which features a DWR coating, providing hydrophobicity to the material. In the construction of the sweater, we implemented what is known as an “angel wing” design, ensuring that the sweater does not lift when raising the arms. This solution significantly improves comfort during climbing and other activities. The Tourist II has two external zippered pockets, where the bottom adjustment of the sweater is hidden.

Malachowski Design – Characteristic of our jackets, is the attention to functionality and minimalist design. In each of our jackets, we use the same regulation solution – we hide all the pullers in the pockets. In this way, we reduce the number of protrusions that can be snagged, leading to damage or dangerous situations. In addition, this solution helps maintain the aesthetics and simplicity of the form.
