ICON TOURIST LADY DOWN VEST

The ICON TOURIST VEST is well suited for both daily activities and outdoor excursions.

In the ICON TOURIST LADY model, we have used an innovative i-Tube material from the Japanese company Toray, where the down chambers are formed during the fabric weaving process. This solution provides higher down retention compared to traditionally stitched models. Additionally, the material has been coated with a hydrophobic DWR layer, which allows the vest to absorb moisture more slowly and makes it resistant to light rain. The bottom part of the vest can be easily adjusted in the pockets, which is particularly useful on very cold days when we have multiple layers of clothing on.

In each of our jackets, we use the same regulation solution - we hide all the pullers in the pockets. In this way, we reduce the number of protrusions that can be snagged, leading to damage or dangerous situations. In addition, this solution helps maintain the aesthetics and simplicity of the form.

Toray i-Toube - This is an innovative fabric weaving technology. It involves creating chambers directly during the fabric production process. The yarn is interwoven between the outer and inner layers of the material. This unique solution replaces the traditional stitching of down chambers. Another important feature is the use of bi-directionally stretchable fibers, which make the material elastic. This results in a more comfortable fabric with higher down retention. The absence of stitches improves windproofing, and when combined with a DWR coating, it also enhances the water-repellent properties of the clothing.

YKK® VISLON® #3 - YKK® is a Japanese zip manufacturer renowned for the highest quality products. The VISLON® #3 product is a cube lock with higher reliability than a fine spiral lock.
